looks over the garden with its swimming pool and orchard and across to the Apennine mountains, the Tiber Valley and Lago Montedoglio
We can arrange in-house catering and wine tastings for you.

We can arrange for a local English speaking expert to visit the villa with a selection of wines for your enjoyment 

Variety of Activities

The Caprese area has a great selection of activities for a wide range of interests and tastes. From beautiful walks through the chestnut covered hills to the birthplace place museum of Michelangelo, with its magnificent views down the Tiber valley

Markets and Shopping

The nearby villages of Manzi and Caprese have groceries, bakeries  and local produce. Markets in Sansepolcro on Saturday and Anghiari on Wednesday where local fresh food and gifts are on sale. Sansepolcro has a range of supermarkets

There are days when sitting by the pool or on the terrace, reading a good book and eating some local cheeses is all you want to do, accompanied by a chilled, refreshing drink

Eating Out

Tuscany is proud of its regional cuisine and the area around our villa has an excellent choice of restaurants and pizzeria to suit most pockets and tastes. 

              La Verna

The working monastery which dates back to the early 13th century is only 14km away. Atop a rocky mountain it is a tranquil and beautiful place, famed as the place where St Francis received his stigmata

Lovely Days Out

Some of the finest towns and cities are within easy reach by car or train. Florence with its stunning architecture and Anghiari with its amazing history and glorious views. Arezzo with its Roman amphitheatre
